Q: Will you bring back some Manila Envelopes?!?!

A: No I fucking wont.

A2: Just because the biggest city in the Philippines is called Manila, doesn’t mean it has anything to do with whatever your feeble mind can connect it to. Mmmkay? So stop asking, asshat. ***Note: People keep asking me that question.

So if you know me, you’ve probably heard I’ve got some upcoming travel — it’s kind of all I can talk about. In case you don’t know, or if for some reason you just revel in the opportunity to read some text and try and imagine it my hypnotizing, (yet sultry and manly at the same time) voice, I’m heading to Manila, Philippines for 4 weeks for work, and then spending another 5 days in ‘Nam Vietnam for underaged prostitution a vacation.

Also, I am freaking out.

I leave on 4/28, which is to say, soon. I won’t be back stateside (I’ve always wanted to say that!) until 6/2. That’s….a while. It’s going to be a big switch, a pretty incredible experience, and I imagine I’ll be heftily — that’s a word I just made up — homesick.

My point is this: I’m going to be gone for a while, and I hope you continue to visit AttitudeSickness for updates. I’ll be blogging about travel, work, life etc. and posting as many pictures as I can. I’ll even have a few more posts related to travel before I ship off. If you’d like to keep in touch, send me an email or comment on this post, and I’ll make sure I add you to the Excel Spreadsheet — someone shut off that dork alarm! — I’ve got going of people who request postcards and their respective addresses.

I’ll not have any mobile phone comm while I’m there, but I will have Skype — comment on the post here or email me if you want my Skype name. With some wireless internet in places I’m sure you’ll see some updates on The Twitter and The Face Book. In addition to blogs here, which through the magic of my handy-dandy iPad I can probably update on a semi-regular basis when I’ve got the wizardry of wireless tubes.

Anyway, more soon.
